I have in mind what zwift, trainerroad, and similar platforms can do to recreate real-world rides on virtual platforms. I wouldn't want to do that exactly on Maximum trainer, but with enough data-smoothing, it would be great to have a baseline of power and cadence data from a real ride (say a race) that I could then train to on MT.
Thanks I understand what you mean now :)
If you are using FE-C Trainer I agree that this can be a pain if one user can no longer continue.
You can disable FE-C Trainer control before everyone know their exact FTP.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Nice to know about the cmd-Z undo. I was looking for something that could undo entire steps (including repeat settings). A couple of times I had a workout that was almost right and then managed to mess it up doing edits. I wanted at that point to undo some of my changes and start over from a point before I did the bad stuff.
It's not crucial (I'd like the ability to set climbing much more) but if it was an easy addition that would be nice.
PS Just noticed that many emacs edit keys work when in the text fields. Nice!
Maybe uploading an image is possible of Zwift is doing it. I'll check if I can contact Strava directly.
For virtual speed not displaying, does this problem appear often? Send me an email with a screenshot of your ANT page to "firstname.lastname@example.org" so I can see what may be causing this.
For the treadmill support, not sure I'm going to invest time in this for now but maybe in the future.
Perfect Donto I got it!
Thanks for mentioning the clock bug, it was starting too soon with the Virtual Speed change, probably should have taken more coffee!
I added the "graph + detailed" view option for power. I will check to let input a custom timespan on the graph for a later update.
Oh I see you mean the general target under the Time. This was mainly meant for the studio mode (multiple users) and I also added it to solo, that's why it' s in %.
As for virtual speed, I see that it takes a while to reach 0. In real life you would put down your feet under 1 kph not too fall. I may tweak a little bit the algorithm in the future
Let me know if you find anything else, really appreciate your help.
Not really familiar with Chromecast, but can you steam anything from your PC to your TV with it (video game, movies, etc.)?
I read that lag can be due to the bandwidth limit from your router.
To be honest, this live feature would require a lot of manpower and work.
As of right now, we are still a small team and have 95% of people on the free subscription, so it's not something on the list.
However, it could change in the future.
Thanks for the suggestion!
The graph in studio mode doesn't show any lines, since it would not be readable with a lot of users. It is just used to have an overview of where you are in the workout and what is coming next.
Each user has his own little box to follow, the targets will be written there. Power/HR target will be different for every user depending on their FTP/LTHR from the studio page. Cadence targets are the same for all users.
Basically, it's the same as in solo mode, the box will become red if you are too high or blue if you are under target.
The target will change in real time so you have to follow your little box.
Hopefully it's clear, if you have any questions just let me know!
